I am currently working on building a stockpile in my computer room closet. It has become so confusing I have no idea where to start! Everything has been cleared out and organized - garbage / keep - but I am still having troubles staying organized! Does anyone have some tips or even a few pictures of their stockpile that may help me? Thanks again!

I'm not really sure what your asking but if you want advise on how to organize your stock pile my biggest piece of advice is to rotate your stock always putting newest in the back and oldest in the front. Keep an inventory with expiry dates so nothing is being wasted. Keep cleaning/scented products away from food items as they will pick up the scent and taste funny.
I have shelves and try to keep it as organized as possible but need more! There are always lots of pictures of peoples stock piles being posted in the brag section that may give you some great ideas! Good luck

Always looking for items on my wishlist, Stouffers and ICoke pins! As well as RAOK Campbells soup labels for my kids school!

I bought some large, cheap resin plastic shelves from Home Depot and I created a little area in the corner of our basement. I have one shelf for food and one for cleaning supplies and toilet paper. I have items separated by category, condiments, lunch box items etc

I have 3 set of shelves: personnal hygiene (TP, kleenex, shower gels, rasors...), house (cleaning products, ziplocks...) and food.
I put the chocolat and other "cochonneries" on the top shelves to avoid temptation. LOOOL

I have a big shoe closet, and decided to move all my shoes (they MIGHT be second to my stockpile now. lol) to the spare bedroom closet. I have 5 shelves - 1. laundry and cleaning supplies 2. dishwashing 3. HBA product 4. Miscellaneous 5. Paper products. I keep my food pile in the pantry. We need to move all of these again to the garage as it's starting to not fit my old shoe closet. I just have to work on it as DH is refusing for me to overtake his part of the house. Hahahahaha.

Thanks everyone for the great ideas! You are all the best!

I have successfully finished organizing / starting my stockpile! It took awhile but I am extremely happy with the outcome and cannot wait to share the pictures with all of you. I will post some soon (in this same thread.) Until then, happy couponing!

I have just recently began my "stockpile", I've purchased a cheap white 4 tiered shefl I got from walmart for like $20 and put it in the basement rec room back bedroom. I would say the #1 thing is to have enough shelf space and keep cleaning supplies away from food supplies

Sometimes you will find that it just kind of organizes itself as you add and re-arrange. I started mine in January (although the TP was there for a while lol). If you are working with a closet then try and get some cheep plastic shelving (often go on sale at CT or HD). Here is some pics of my stockpile thread to get some ideas for categories. http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/208570-...y-pics-canada/. It can be fun to build one. Try and use thing you have around the home to sort. Cheers!

My stockpile is growing steadily each week. I don't however have a dedicated spot for it yet. I know where it's going to be, I just need some cooler weather so I can get in there, clean it out and then put up my shelves. I wish I could do that sooner, I know my stockpile is getting quite large, I just can't until the heat breaks. So it likely won't be until the fall. Until then, everything is put into cupboards around the kitchen and bathroom.
