Do you guys make a list of all your coupons? Like a coupon inventory?

I'm wondering if I should, I made a list a while back when I had ~50 coupons, now I have well over 100 and my list is very outdated... I have finally organized mine in a binder, but I still didn't list what I have...

Do you make lists? Why? How is it organized?

Hopefully this can be a useful thread on how to organize and check your coupons!

I personally have a list of all the coupons I want to trade. This list also helps me keep track of expiring coupons so I can easily remove them. Coupons I do not wish to trade, I do not keep track of in a list since I use them regularly.

If you plan on trading coupons, I definitely reccomend creating a list. I use Excel to make my list so I can easily copy and paste here on SC.

Whether or not you get your coupons for trade listed I would strongly recommend that you give equal or higher priority to a wish list. Whenever you see a coupon posted that you'd really like to get, copy and paste it into your wish list. A long and detailed wish list gets results.

Very wise advice! As I come across products and coupons I've jotted them down but have yet to collate it in a list.

As for the coupons I have, I was starting to create an Access Database (I don't have a ton of experience using Access but enough to get me going) but was still trying to figure out what fields I would find useful as I only want to build it from the ground up once. Then figure out how I want reports generated ie. expires/coupon type, etc. I think I'm just over thinking it all!

I agree with Mcminsen for the wishlist...

that way SCer know what you are looking for and you could do trade on regular basis with you. There is so many coupon floating around and usually only 30-50 really good for a person and/or her/his family.

I keep a list for both trade and keep. It's very time consuming in the beginning, but once you have you list, you just have to take off what was use/trade, and add new coupons as you receive them. I like my keep list too, that was I don't have to go through all my coupon when I do my match/fluyers and also I can keep an eye on those expiring soon.

I keep all of my coupons in a spreadsheet. Mark them as trade/train/used/expired etc...Eventually, used, traded, expired coupons will be move to a different list. I just want to trend what coupons come out when, so I know how long it will be before I can get new ones.

Very handy to post trade lists and coordinate with flyers.

Definitely! My excel spreadsheet is always being updated - these are my headers:

Qty / Description / Conditions (ie. WUB2) / Expiry Date

I personally do not list my coupons. Every now and then I flip through my binder, and take out all of the expired coupons. I also have small zip folders I keep all of the coupons I plan on using that day in. Hope this was of some help!!

you can list your coupons on worz.ca

it notifies you by email when the coupons are about to expire. You can get a list from it to paste into your profile.

Sigh, all my coupons are squished in a reusuablable walmart bag, I just can't stay focused or sit still long enough to do them. I did buy a small binder last night, the thought is there lol.
