Here's the webpage if you guys are interested:
http://www.niagarafallstourism.com/
Marineland - for kids mostly; kind of like a Canadian Seaworld with marinelife, shows with whales/dolphins, petting beluga whales etc. Lots of fun to see as zoos don't usually have too much marine life. They also have rides like rollercoasters, big and small, and a drop tower. Can be a bit pricey so look out for coupons & deals.
Butterfly conservatory - A large indoor forest-like environment with all kinds of butterflies. Never been but it looks like fun too- unless you're squeemish about the butterflies landing on you and all, which some people are.
Lots of waterparks- There are a lot of indoor waterparks & waterpark/hotel combos like the fairly new Great Wolf Lodge resort. If the kids are interested maybe you can look into them.
Spas- there are a few day spas in the area as well.
Wineries- many of Ontario's vineyards lay in the Niagara falls region. Often wineries do organized tours and tastings.
Outlet malls- A bunch of shopping and fashion outlets.
There are also casinos, fishing, golf etc. Have fun in Niagara!

I love to go to the Horticultural Building which is just past the Falls as you drive towards Ft. Erie. It's FREE - but you may have to pay for parking. - a nominal fee. They always have BEAUTIFUL floral displays and one side has a "Tropical" display complete with birds, palms - and lots of tropical plants. At that time of year the outside gardens should still be beautiful as well! I LOVE Niagara Falls!

I highly suggest going to the Butterfly Obsevatory (absolutely astonishing) and of course, the ever-cheesy Clifton Hills.
