If you pay $2.50-$3 for a cereal that you enjoy to eat and then get back $5 you're making $1.50-$2 after paying for the stamp.
If you pay $4.50 and you get back $5 then it's like the cereal is free after paying for the stamp.
I think the point here is - buy the cereal if you'll eat it!
Wouldn't be worth the time to just send in empty boxes to get a few dollars back. I would rather eat the food and end up getting it for free.I am looking for many fpc coupons and willing to trade gift cards - especially stouffers and fresh produce. The expiry dates must be at least 1 month away. I'm also looking for betty crocker, pillsbury, philadelphia, nexxus, $3 beef, icecream, beans. I prefer large trades but have few coupons to trade.

Good question.
I guess if the cereal is free, than the gas card offer is a good deal.
Free cereal would me a combination of coupons to reduce the price of the cereal, FPC, or using points to pay for the cereal.
Point could come from Airmiles gift cards, PC points, HBC points or Stouffers rewards that result in a gift card.
For those who already have too much cereal in the house (lol) but want to get the gas card, I guess you could donate your cereal to a food bank or another location. One location will take food donations from me and, if I have the store receipt, they will give me a charity tax receipt for $20 or more donated.
Just my 2 cents worth...Last edited by Shwa Girl; Sun, Jul 24th, 2011 at 01:42 PM.

Just came back from Walmart Etobicoke (July 24), their Corn Pops doesn't offer the $ 5 gas card, I quickly scanned the other Kelloggs cereal, didn't see the g/c either.
Has anyone seen any other Kelloggs cereal that offers the $ 5.00 gas card?

I'm in a similar boat, 1 occasional cereal eater in the family, but between $5 ice cream for $3 and $5 in salad/dressing/fuze for $1 we've got at least 20 boxes even after giving away tons. Thank god this one has a 4 per household limit LOL
I can see some cereals being broken down in a food processor & used for baking, either coarse as an add-in or very fine in place of some sugar/flourLast edited by Fury420; Sun, Jul 24th, 2011 at 04:02 PM.
