I went to SOF today to use my raincheck for Dove Deodorant that was on sale two weeks ago for $1.49. Lucky me, there were stocks on the shelf.. so I took 10 and got my 10 printable coupons handy and off i went to the cashier. The cashier took a good look at my coupons and asked if those were photocopies.. I told her those were printed from my computer..she called the manager and both of them took a good look again at the coupon. The manager read it aloud and told me that it says "one coupon per purchased".. i then said I have one coupon each for the item/purchase... the manager also said that they don't let costumers use coupon on store special...I asked since when??? but he didn't answer me instead he said "that's why they are not allowing stacking anymore".. it's weird coz the manager kept on saying "no facsimile".. which was written on the coupon. I had enough of the stress so I just told the manager that it's okay.. so I left the store

So on my way home, I called Overwaitea Foods Head office and I talked to this nice lady and I told her what happened. She took my phone number and said she will call me back after she got information from the store. After 30 mins she called me back. She said she spoked with the manager at that specific store and he told her that my coupon said "no facsimile". She also called the operations manager and they explained to her that the coupon that I have is "not manufacturers Coupon" because it says "No facsimile".. she then again said that according to their operations manager that Manufacturer's Coupon doesn't put "no facsimile" on their printable coupon... she then told me that the coupon that i have for Dove deodorant is Void and not valid..
She even told me to be careful in printing coupons from websites because some of them are not valid. I was really upset and I want to call Dove. Does anybody here had trouble in using Dove deodorant coupon?????

The only printable i know Dove did was for Shampoo for $2.00 off that came from Coupon.com....Maybe your printable is scanned & and by mistake you took it for a printable. So sad that websites post these coupons.

I'm new to couponing so I am really not sure what to look for to know if the coupon is valid or not.... also I just looked at the AXE Bogo coupon from AXE Facebook website.. their coupon says "no facsimile" as well... so I am really confused why they refused my coupon.

Wasn't there a $1 off Dove visible smooth deo coupon that you could print thru coupons.com. It was a Canadian coupon and you could only print 2 per household. They are not available anymore...and I don't know when they expired?!

I do know that they usually say that you can only print off one coupon when you are on the site. Could that maybe have been why? Sorry that happened. I don't use too many printed coupons but have never heard of the one you are talking about.

I have one of those coupons too. It does in fact say 'no facsimiles.' I'm guessing the intention of that wording is that they don't want you to photocopy the printed version... although how can you tell with printed coupons??
That said, this particular coupon wouldn't be valid on the deodorants SOF had on sale. The coupon is for 'Dove Ultimate VisiblySmooth Anti-perspirant product' The ones that were $1.49 were the GOFRESH.
I'm sorry that the store made you feel this way... perhaps you can call customer service back and explain to them that this was a printed coupon through Dove's facebook page and was in fact genuine. If I'm not mistaken, all ten of yours should have unique dot scan codes on them. (which you could show them) If you've got a good arsenal of coupons you could even offer to educate the manager about different types of coupons and what they look like.
