    My DS (23yrs) is coming for a visit so I put a roast beef in the oven & decided to make a Canada Day cake too!

    I used Betty Crocker lemon cake mix & whipped Vanilla icing I got on sale for 99cents each awhile back at FB & some fresh sliced strawberries 2.97 (only used a few)

    Hope everyone enjoys Canada Day, eh!

    I can't see the cake either, but I'm drooling!
    My db was in the Canada Day Parade, so I took my mum down to see it - for a small town, we do get a lot of people participating and supporting such things! Good job, Chatham-Kent!

    We then went down to the main park in town and lined up for a piece of Canada D'eh cake served up with the festivities. It was good, but by the sounds of it, yours was TERRIFIC!
