Happy Canada Day!!!
Hope everyone had a great Canada Day in Saint John and surrounding areas. We headed uptown today and it was crazy though we were also trying to get through the crowd while pushing a double stroller, lol.... Now we're just waiting for the fireworks!!!

I was uptown today too, but had a awful time, we tired to go eat at Pizza Hut 1st we were told to come back in half hour so I went back in 45 minutes, then was told to come back in a another hour becuase they were busy and there was like noone in there. I was not impressed with them at all I do plan on getting a hold of their head office tomorrow about it. Like my kids really wanted to be waiting around 2 plus hours to get pizza they really wanted, so I had to get them McDonalds instead. I was not very impressed with them at all today.

We went uptown yesterday as well and spent the majority of the time at the museum!! GREAT Caillou display for the kids..... we will definitely make a point to get there again before it leaves. LOVE the idea of the giant yard sale but the mass of people and lack of adequate space made it difficult to get a good look. From what Hubby said everything seemed to be marked up :S

I encourage everyone with kids to check out the museum sometime soon. The kids played for a good hour and didn't want to leave..... we didn't even get up to the playroom

Happy Canada Day indeed!

We headed to St. Martins and avoided the crowds! It was really relaxing and fun exploring the ocean floor - and the kids were really good.

We went to the uptown festivities last year and just found ourselves frustrated with the crowds and it was more stressful than fun.

We love the museum and always head out on free museum days! We thought about it yesterday too. Next year we are going to get a yearly family pass.

Eric and I decided yesterday that we are going to get a pass too! For the amount of times we go there in a year it's totally worth it. We usually hit it on the 'free' days too ;0)
