i hope so! ill have to try tomorow
Well they are allowing stacking in Vancouver now so Wpg? could it be true...?
wow I will deff follow this thread !!!!
would be nice but I won't be holding my breath
OMG! lol that would be awesome! If anyone can clarify please do!!
I am definetely not holding my breath on this one, especially this store in particular. From my experience and several others I have a hard time believing that that store would allow it as they are one of the worst stores to use cpns in. If they are in deed going to stack, they've come a very long way and I will once again start shopping there.
Instead of us all phoning to find out if it is true, is it possible that someone volunteer to call and update all of us on whether it is true?
I'm surprised to hear that. I have only been using coupons for 2 months, but have been shopping at this store specifically for almost 2 years. I find that as long as people are using coupons sensibly (make sure they are accurate and don't go running with multiples of printed coupons!!) they management are actually brilliant towards couponers. I've had nothing but positive experiences with this store. I've had the odd cashier giving me problems but chalk it up to them dealing with a lot of coupons that are used incorrectly. *shrugs*. Personally, I'm hoping if they do allow stacking, that they invoke some limits and guidelines to stop shelf clearing etc. Since this has been my regular store for a couple of years, and I have always loved shopping there, I'd hate to see it go to hell because of a more welcoming policy. If this in fact true that they allow stacking, please people, be sensible. I can't tell you how much I am frustrated at seeing various walmarts being full of empty shelves due to the overage policy already and all the freaking trial sizes. Each to their own, I get that.. but when it affects my daily shopping experience too.. then I have every right to speak up.
If it does come to pass that stacking is allowed here in Winnipeg.. let's all use common sense and limit ourselves a little in order to ensure that management have a great experience with it. It can only help us in the long run. Right?
Wow, that would be great! :)
I agree... If this is true... PLEASE . . . .Let's not ruin it!!! I've already heard people commenting on the BC thread and saying that it's been ruined before... Man i hope this is true, and that Winnipegers can all be proper and respectful so that we can all benefit for years to come!! So excited!!!
I agree as well!! i have been to walmart on regent now looking just to get a couple of the mousse and hairspray with no luck what so ever!! They are not restocking them and have not for quite some time now....I wasted ink on these cpns and cant even use them!! Very frustraing when you go to the store for something and cant even get one item of anything!!! Ticks me right off and fouls my mood for my shopping trip......
anyone phone to verify this yet? I would volunteer but my phone is tied up all day till 5 cause i work from home and the phone line is needed.
Has anyone clarified this yet? Its killing me............:excited:
bookmarked - waiting for updates :)
Lol...all BS, just got off the phone with them....
Not nice whoever told u that! Lol
That's too bad :( would have loved to hear it was true!
Yeah...most definitely would have been really nice..but who knows? Maybe in the future after the other couple of walmarts finish their tests maybe all of them will start? Lol doubt it though...the lady I talked to on the phone was a little rude about it though lol wasn't really expecting that....
I shop mostly at that walmart and don't usually have problems with coupons, if they stacked I'd be in heaven! LD wouldn't let me stack my OFF coupons today!
I forget her name, long blondish hair, said she was a manager. Fist she said because it said one per purchase, and I said well the other manager said that wording is ok, then she said because it says cannot combine with other offers or discounts.
Prior to December 2010, LD was way better at allowing coupon stacking, but as someone posted on SC, there was a person going to LD and clearing the shelves and then selling the items they got for free at garage sales...
After that LD imposed a 2 item limit (I don't mind the limit as it helps to stop shelf clearing) and they became stricter with coupon stacking...
ic, ic, i know i read a post on here about someone seeing stuff at a garage sale!! that is crazy!! I would never sell anything from my stockpile!!
Well i guess the manager's misinformed because they do allow the wording you mentioned above.... 99.9% of coupons have it written. What they don't allow is "Use of more than one manufacturer coupon per product is strictly prohibited." I know there's a thread on here explaining the wording and what LD deems as acceptable/unacceptable. Let me see if I can find it!
I tried explaining that to her and what the other manager had told me about the restrictive wording so she spent 5 mins going through other coupons other people had used saying no none of these say that so you can only use one. (sorry for caps)
