So, I was all excited to order my pink Sony eReader.. Well, I went to order it, and the shipping was $120, are you kidding me?!?!

So I had to settle for a blue one.. Though, with $100, I could buy a bunch of different cases/skins, that are better than plain ol' pink, anyway. Sheesh.

    Amazon.
eBay didn't really have much for the Sony's..
And I wanted a Sony, because they're apparently the easiest to use (I've been wanting one for over a year, and I did A LOT of research, lol.. I also sold my laptop, so I deserve it. )

    Oohh, nope.
But I should've known better.. $80 for the pink one..of course there had to be a catch.
Even the silver was around $70.
I ended up paying $85 for the blue one, and $20 shipping. Not too bad.. Still $20 more than I told DH, though. =/
Oh well, I can safely say that was MY money...I bought that laptop before I even moved in with him, lol.

Basically a mini computer made for books, lol.
I got the paperback size one (5 inch screen) so it fits in my purse.
I read an average of a book a day, so I needed one..my iPod just isn't cutting it anymore.

Well, as long as it's a book I can get interested in..
Sometimes it takes me 2 or 3 days, if I'm not as interested. I hate it when a series starts out really great, then turns to crap..I just have to finish it.
And with DD sleeping 12-14 hours straight (usually she sleeps 13 hours) I spend most of my night reading. I read from the time I put her to bed, until DH calls on his break (about 2 1/2 hours later), shower, then more reading, before I go to bed myself.
I'm also a bit of a speed reader, lol.

And I am jealous. I remember when I used to read a book a day or more when baby was born. I've been on the same book the past two months. >_< I've got so many books to catch up on! I always used to run out of stuff to read, now it's gonna take me months to get caught up.

It's good to invest in a USB charger too if you do any travelling! Easier than lugging around a laptop.
