The City of Calgary is known for the free pancake breakfasts that go on during the Calgary Stampede every year. This year they have a site called Flap Jack Finder that helps you find where the breakfasts are occurring this year for Stampede (July 9-18,2010)
It comes with the promise that all your breakfasts will be free and flat! Check it out at:

Thx for posting, seems like there are less this year. Must be the economy, or companies making their stampede activities private.

Wow t hat is LESS??? I am not from here so at least 3 a day seems likes a heck of enough Pcakes - and for 10 days!!!!

LOL, I know it seems like alot but a few years ago they were everywhere. I don't like pancakes so don't attend.

What's wrong with the economy in Calgary? Aside from HST?? I am making twice as much salary as I did in Ontario.

We don't have HST in Alberta. I don't think a lot of people are attending them as much as they used to. I don't go to them so I really wouldn't know.

Yahoo!!!!!! The list is actually missing ALOT of stampede breakfasts just in my and DD's neighborhood we have seen several signs so I guess alot of places just did not post. Enjoy the pancakes and have a funtastic stampede experience.

The thing I love about Stampede breakfasts is that you can pretty much just close your eyes, spin in a circle and walk in whatever dirction you stop at and you will find a free breakfast!
