At Tuckers Market place, you eat for free on your birthday. So we get to go there twice a year, for my birthday and my hubby's, and eat for around$20 for two (I think the buffet is $18.99). Great deal and great food.
Happy birthday by the way!

happy early birthday, nateandava!
there's a ton of birthday posting in the "special occasions" freebies section: http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/special-occasion-freebies/.
some off the top of my head that I can recall arriving in my inbox this year: sephora (always a great one), dairy queen, boston pizza, baskin robins, mario badescue sent me a $10 online voucher that never expires. I just came across a birthday club from coldstone creamery but found it after my bday sadly so I don't know what they send or if it applies to us canucks. there's plenty in the link above though -- good luck!

Ricki's friends and family card-on birthday, an email coupon for $10 off any $40 purchase and coupon has about 3 month's time on it. Have to sign up in advance to get the store emails about promos, etc.
William's Coffee Pub (southern ontario)-sign up to get their newsletter and usually a free beverage or cake slice coupon arrives in your inbox for your birthday (have about 7 days or so to use it). Sometimes with a new product launch, an incentive coupon may be sent out to you.
This is not birthday related but the two Second Cup franchises owned by one owner (Hamilton, ON area) usually advertises a free summer drink coupon in the local paper good for use in a particular week in July. You might want to see if your papers have a similar offer. Great treat to have on a hot day! I usually buy something to go with the free drink as a way of supporting the business for that offer.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

You don't say where you are...there are usually local birthday specials.
Here in Vancouver, Vera's Burgers gives a ten dollar gift certificate to use on your birthday.
Happy Birthday tomorrow!

Vera's birthday cert is free and clear. No need to drag someone along like other birthday so-called freebies.
The only catch is that you have to use it on your actual birthday.
