I love that show too! Do you have a link to the website? I was actually thinking of doing the same thing just yesterday. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

on her resource page there are some amazing links, on the budgel spreadsheet at the very bottom on how to use it. it is helpful to do so because it looks straight forward but there are steps on how to do it.
good luck keep me posted. i got a budget binder ready and i am putting my monthly meal planner calendar in it as well so i can plan and budget our meals better.

Fantastic idea.
What I'm doing-
get twenties from the bank machine with a limit each week.
Spend up to 15 dollars and save the fives, using free envelopes located at the bank machine.
When I need to use a five dollar bill, keep the loonies and toonies.
It's a game, but the money sure stretches.

I think that show appeals to us all because it shows people in worse shape than us who can dig themselves out. So it makes us feel better about ourselves, that we're not THAT bad!
Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan too, watch it all the time, but I think this is part of the reason!

I really like the show, too. Many good advices and ideas. But what to do when you already control every penny you spend, not thousands like some of the people in the show? I am on the budget from the beggining of the year and sometimes it is really hard to meet the numbers. Now, when reading SC for hours, I am more smart when it comes to shopping and I can really see the improvement.
Thanks SC![url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/savings/wqA86Ng/]
