Banana walnut bread, brownies
Okay, my 2 cents, since I don't usually bake desserts because we'd just eat it! :)
For dessert when the kids all came over for dinner on Saturday, I looked for a really easy dessert recipe, and boy did I find one! This is an easy, calorie-laden, decadent dessert that should only be made occasionally or you'll be joining me on the diet thread! It turned out beautifully, poofy, and it tasted wonderful...the kids took most of it home that evening. :)
I won't bother typing it all out here, and besides, there's a video for it on the page I'll post.
I did make a couple of changes...I used 2 Pillsbury Grands cinnamon roll pkgs, McIntosh apples since we prefer them, and I added raisins. Next time I'll double the apple mixture.
Oh...and I drizzled (nuked 10 seconds) one of the icings on before baking and the other after baking.
Next time I'll only put it on after baking. I baked it in a 9x13 glass baking dish..can't imagine it smooshed together in anything smaller.
Ohhh...if our Grandson wasn't allergic to nuts, almonds or pecans in this would be wonderful!!
Enjoy!

I just put in a round loaf of Irish soda bread-hopefully it turns out as I have never made it before.
In April I have baked 3 loaves of banana bread, 5 dozen oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, a cheesecake, a 9x9” pan of oatmeal cherry squares. I’m looking to do more baking this week, but use mashed avocado instead of butter.
I made a chocolate layer cake with vanilla bean frosting this morning. It looks so yummy. We are having company for appie night and this will hit the spot afterwards. I think I’ll serve it with whipping cream.
Espresso cookies shaped like a black cat.
After tennis this morning I got busy and made a triple layer banana coconut layer cake to take to a friends dinner party tonight.
A loaf of hearth-style onion bread to give as a gift.
Egg tarts!!! For my parents:cheesygrin:
@valentin156 - Are these the Chinese egg tarts? I love those. Are they hard to make?

It was like tens of thousands years ago but... dark chocolate brownie!
This week our son helped me bake a 9x13” pan of apple rhubarb crisp. We grow our own rhubarb. The apples were in our freezer from last fall, when I picked them for free from a lady who was giving them away. Cheap and healthy.
An oatmeal cookie - just 1 big one, from a mix :) I resisted the urge to make a second one - lol
Like last time, a loaf of hearth-style partly whole wheat onion bread to give as a gift, but a second loaf too this time, also hearth-style, and a saver's special, 25% WW with a container of recent free Quaker Overnight Oats as an add-in.
