Hi everyone! I did win a contest and received the prize yesterday. It was through The Metro Newspaper and I won a Mother-Daughter contest. Mom and I received a make-over at Clinique (at The Bay) and $300 of product!!! I have never rec'd that much make-up in one shot - even with those "spend $30, receive a make-up bag" deals. I was told that our picture (ahhhh) would be in the Metro paper sometime during the upcoming week!
Wow, thats great!! I bet you two had a fab. time... That would buy a lof of nice makeup! Clinique is expensive but *very* nice..
Thanks!! We did - my mom was so shy. This was a real treat b/c we never pamper ourselves! We almost ran for the hills though when they told us we'd have to have our picture taken. We had a make-over...but my dreams of looking like J-Lo weren't realized...hee hee!!
today at safeway i won the bulova watch worth $250.00 in the lucky break contest kinda cool cause it's on the web site worth$199 us(like there's much dif now) and yesterday was my birthday so happy birtyhday to me again funny though i went to shopper's for my 20x and forgot my card on computer from doing survey so had to go home to get it. if i didn't go get it before going to safeway i would've got a different ticket than the winning one yeah me:top:

OMG I got the best phone call tonight.... I won 2 round-trip airfares to London England from Air Canada's RapidAir 35th Anniversary Sweepstakes! The funny thing is, I wrote the entry essay while on a night shift at work! Now we can take our honeymoon to Europe that we have been talking about!!! AHHHH!!!

I always wondered if the autofill would hinder from winning! I'll definitely be doing everything the long way from now on!
I win a fair bit and it takes me several hours to do my contests because I fill them all out the long way
I have won using autofill, but recently I stopped using it. No big difference in winnings yet (the AC Trip was an essay I mailed in...)
I haven't won anything yet and I use autofill a fair bit except when I read the rules quickly to check for that.
I'm so bad - I don't read the rules....haste makes waste I guess...

When i was a kid, i wrote a Rememberance Day Poem back in 1985 and won $15 (was alot for a kid back then, lol), a dinner at the legion that was in our town and a plaque with my name on it. About 10 years ago i won a Hudson Bay blanket from an entry ballot at a drugstore. I won $20 on a scratch ticket before, woo hoo!
