Hi Skenobi,

I won twice last year with tripcentral- once in the same contest as you and once in a radio contest. Your procedure is normal. My husband and I have already taken the first winning trip and we will shortly take the second. This time around we bought two additional trips for my son and a friend and, believe me, the marketing rep overcame obstacles to make it happen. The boys are 14 so co-ordinating between school and some of the trip restrictions was interesting. Many thanks to Stacey Levesque the Marketing Co-ordinator at Tripcentral.

Thanks, everyone, for your words of congratulations and for the additional insight. Very much appreciated. This is all new to me, but it's reassuring to hear from others what the experience is like, just so I know I'm on the right track with things. I've been speaking to others about this and I had a nice chat with the sponsor today so all my questions have pretty much been answered and I'll be faxing in the paperwork tomorrow -- just gotta get my passport renewed!

Things to look out for? travel insurance, make sure your shots are up to date for traveling to other countries.

Yup, don't give up and just keep on playing! Great luck for me, of course, but that particular week I think I managed to enter every day so the chances are definitely there. Of course, I couldn't have done it without the help of everyone who took the time to post the answers.

No, the weekly prize packages all have a predetermined departure date, so it helps if your documents (passports, etc) are relatively in place so you're ready to go. My prize was for the week of February 23 and I leave on April 21, so they give you about 2 months to get everything ready.

You also have to pay departure taxes, so having the extra money for that is definitely a consideration. I think if you click on the link for each weekly prize, you can see when you're scheduled to leave, what's included, how much you have to pay for taxes, etc.

Glad to hear you've had a great experience in dealing with TripCentral. Initially that was my main concern, but I agree, Stacey has been fantastic about the process and has taken the time to explain everything. My mind is definitely at ease now that I managed to get all the information I was looking for. You hear horror stories about people who "win" trip contests and then are scammed, but I'm glad everything is working out.

I have a quick question.. when it says this...
"Limit of one (1) entry per household per 24-hour period.In the case of multiple entries in the same 24-hour period, only the first eligible entry will be considered"
Does that when you enter at 9pm one day and 8am the next day the second entry will be disqualified? So if you enter at 7pm one day you HAVE to enter after 7pm the next day? coz I have never really understood this statement.
