Took a break from entering since around november, and just started back again this week.
Won a hasbro pack the other day, and an 80" portable projection screen from dell frenzy instant win. $449. I have no idea what Im going to do with it though. LOL

wow what great wins..I have won nothing but a Prestone toque.....but I did get a beautiful flat screen monitor from a neighbour(posted in freebies received), and I finally went to Le Chateau today( loulou win) and I bought my sister-in-law a purse and a beautiful peach sweater for myself..so I guess that's kind of a win lol,

I won a hat from the King of Sausages contest Maple Leaf Vienna sausages was holding lol. Had no idea until it showed up yesterday with a note saying Congrats lol.

Got a call saying I won a Disney vacation through Visa too but I used a prepaid to sign up and the lady wouldn't listen to me when i told her. When she finally got what I was saying, the battery died in my phone.... ugh. I don't know if it was real though. Sounded way too good to be true and apparently they only wanted CC# to verify who I was. Sounded fishy but I guess I miss out on it now regardless.

Got a call saying I won a Disney vacation through Visa too but I used a prepaid to sign up and the lady wouldn't listen to me when i told her. When she finally got what I was saying, the battery died in my phone.... ugh. I don't know if it was real though. Sounded way too good to be true and apparently they only wanted CC# to verify who I was. Sounded fishy but I guess I miss out on it now regardless.

I got a similar phone call about a trip to Disney. She kept hounding me for my credit card number. And then she said if any charges appeared on the credit card that I didn't authorize, I wasn't legally liable for them. It was total scam.

Yes, she hounded me pretty bad too, saying things like 'I have all day if you want to look for one, I get paid by the hour' and when I told her I only have a prepaid visa she kept saying 'What is the expiry of your mastercard and what is the 16 digit number starting with 5' lol I have a prepaid Visa not MC. Good to know it was a scam though lol I kept wondering about it. The original number that called me was from Nova Scotia I know that much lol.

Yes me too. Glad you posted here too cuz that would've bugged me not knowing if I was the only one. Especially where my battery died in the end before I could get it through to her that I had a prepaid visa and not what they were looking for lol.
She said at one point too that she 'didn't mind waiting for my husband to get home from work and help me find one'. Lol I said 'that isn't for 2 more hours at least'. She said 'thats fine I could use a good break. I get paid anyways'. Lol way too funny. Talk about desperate eh.

Got a similar call a few months ago - big scam - why would you have to give CC # if you won something? And fyi, for others who get these calls ALL Visas begin with the number 4 and ALL MCs begin with the # 5.

It's a scam they contacted me and several others last month.
