I'm just getting started in doing these contests.
Any suggestions for a newbie contest entrant?

If you try to enter everything, you will be overwhelmed, so enter for the prizes you would enjoy.
Also, single entry contests are just once, and your done, so your odds are as good as everyone elses.
Instant wins are fun cause you can have that immediate win, and many times for great prizes.
Sometimes you will get burned out, then take a day or two off from them.
Check for contests with more than one prize, eg. that supersoaker contest, not a big prize but 250 of them, so your first win big or small gets ya hooked, and helps to keep you going.
I'm sure there's a thread about all this, will pm ya a link.
Mainly, for me this is a hobby, and wins are an added bonus so make sure you have fun and enjoy entering them.

i won an ipod touch from the coca-cola & 7-11 text to win contest. You could text in daily..i actually only texted in once then totally forgot about the contest until I received a winning text. Just proves it only takes one entry to win! Can't wait to get it. good luck everybody!
