Holy cow! I just got a call saying that I was a semi-finalist in the "Flippin for Lakeport" Contest! (prize is a catered backyard bbq for up to 40 people and winner gets to keep the Napolean bbq).

Have to call them tomorrow for a phone interview....

Oh that is exciting! I applied for that one!

I finally won a contest. I won 2 tickets to a concert with Emily Osment and a bunch of other people in Toronto on June 23rd. The tickets are each worth 43 bucks

hubby works in media industry..we got invited to Global TV Edmonton Fall lineup - won a small herb garden! Yay - I almost bought one of those last weekend at Canadian Tire but didnt have time to get there. Also, my $25 Joe Fresh consolation prize (due to their massive email screwup) is awaiting my signature on their registered letter - got the Canada Post notice today!

So....I bought a lottery ticket today just on off chance luck will stay with me

I had my phone interview this morning - and they're going to let me know next week if I make it to the "in-person" interview stage...

Wow, I have never went through such a rigorous process for a contest before - but it's a great prize and will be well worth it if I win.
