Any Canadian Order that has a value over $20 USD (not including shipping) will incur the following charges: $5.00 customs handling fee and a 6% GST Tax, as well as local Provincial taxes (where applicable). These charges will be due to your mail courier upon delivery of the order.

Does anyone know if "value over $20 USD" means before or after discounts are applied?

I got an email today that the code you ladies are talking about: SIXTY for 60% off sitewide is from 12-6pm EST on July 6th with orders over $25 or more. So maybe 6pm tomorrow is when it expires.

On another note, has anyone noticed the studio line brushes getting less dense? I just got my order today, I got backups of the face kabuki, eyeshadow C, and the small angled brush. All of them feel less dense, and most obviously so with the eyeshadow C, because it also feels less stiff. I'm so sad, I should have bought 2 when they were still dense, now they feel just like the regular line shadow brush.

Is it just me, or does the ''$6.95 standard shipping with Paypal'' trick not work anymore?

I just tried to use Paypal to place my order for the 60% off sale but the final invoice adds on an additional cost underneath the 'shipping' dropdown menu that says ''ship to Canada: $8.00"

Which equals $14.95 !!!

im trying to checkout ($25 order -60% off) but it wont let me choose paypal and it keeps giving me errors. there is no one on the site live to chat with, and i don't think i will receive a response from customer service if i email them before the sale ends at 6! blaaaaaaaah!

Make sure you are not logged into the elf site when you choose the paypal option.

At the page after you click Place the Order, it will tell you the shipping is only $6.95, and the $8 is not tacked on. It will also tell you that the order is shipped by USPS. This is tried and true, I've placed two orders on ELF since I noticed it started saying that $8 shipping thing, and both times the $8 was not charged. Assuming this is all through Paypal and stuff of course.
I think they're just trying to scare us.

Well, it makes no sense why paying with paypal would mean less shipping, it's just a glitch in the system for them.

@ Christina - did you check your order confirmation email?

blah. oh well... sale's over. i'll remember for next time though. I made an order a couple weeks ago that just said $6.95 shipping on the confirmation page, and now it also says $8.00. that's probably what deterred me from placing the order. probably for the best LOL! thanks for all your help anyways!
