Here is from today’s (Nov 5) Province page A3:


“People living near the Canada Line rapid-transit construction project on Cambie Street will be getting gift certificates in the mail. Ten thousand $20 gift coupons are being mailed to residents living from False Creek to 33rd Avenue and from Main to Oak streets. The $20 coupons can be spent at Cambie Village businesses from 2nd Avenue to King Edward Avenue from Nov. 6 to 18. The program is sponsored by the Canada Line Rapid Transit Co.”

If the coupons are good starting tomorrow, they should arrive in the mailbox today.

Darnit, im just out of that range. Cool idea. I'm sure the businesses will still be ticked off just as much after this campaign though, LOL.
