Thanks MrsMer...I think. LOL I am so not a techie and was wondering why I wasn't getting my twitter points and you just explained why. I did as you did and hopefully I didn't just give them permission to access my bank account.. LOLLOL Let's also hope I will now get my last 5 points to get $20.

After giving this some more thought, I'm wondering if I'm correct after all. I did figure out how to have my twitter page in my facebook "about me" (which is what the Futureshop person said). I went to my FB profile, clicked edit profile, and in the "about me" box, I pasted the link to my twitter page. I'm still waiting impatiently for my points (I'm afraid they are going to run out of $$ before they award mine..hahaha).

oh sorry, if you have done it already then its too late. But if its your first time doing the avatar one, click the little picture 2 times really fast and it will give you 6 points instead of 3

I am also waiting for my twitter points. I read a post on the Futureshop Facebook page that "you'll need to connect your Twitter account to the Tapped In app in the "About You" section to count your #BeEverywhere tweets toward gift card credits." Actually, that won't link your Twitter with your Facebook in the way that you want for this contest. (At least I don't think so anyways)

Here's how you should be doing things

1) Go to Futureshop's Tapped In App
2) Look at the section that says your name, and the # of credits, along with 4 icons beside it, indicating how many $5 GCs you can/will get.
3) Choose the "+ About You" button to the left of that area.
4) At the top of this new menu, you'll see the words "Your info" above that, the words & button for Twitter & FourSquare. Underneath Twitter, choose connect, and on this new screen, click allow.
5) Click "Save It" at the bottom, just in case.
6) Profit from contest

The judges are judging too long for some of the task ~.~ and my tweeting doesnt work at all..tried many times

Remember its the weekend though right. So if you're trying these tasks during the weekend it will probably be as long as wed before you get anything. Also remember to have the tapped in app connected to your twitter account or they won't know the tweets are from you.

I have tweeted about future shop 4 times now and I still havent received the points for it....it has been 3 days now. Don't know what the heck is wrong. Anyone else having this problem? YES I have connected my twitter to the Future Shop Tapped In App so it should be working.
