In sportcheks new flyer it states: " Aug3rd to Aug29th Free skate sharpening limit 3 per customer per visit. Subject to availability" so maybe call ahead instead of lugging skates around. We took advantage of this great deal last fall when they had it. Fabulous and free! (we went to Sport Chek at St Vital mall last time and will do so again this time)

Oooh, thanks for posting this deal. I always pay a small fortune to get the families skates sharpened each season.

Can anyone verify that Pembina Hwy Sport Chek has the freebie sharpenings? I'm going in there tomorrow.
