Thread: Where have all the coupons gone?
-

I went to my local Sobeys and there were ZERO coupons anywhere to be had - I finally found a tearpad for the bearpaw cookies but just the cardboard backing was there . Now that couponing has become so popular they seem to disappear so quickly. If anyone has the bearpaw cookies for trade I would love to trade for some.
Can't wait for the next round of new coupons - maybe I'll actually get some !This thread is currently associated with: SobeysRRLF Disney Movie Reward codes found inside Disney dvd/bluray cases

I don't actually use Sobeys that much but I know on certain facebook groups they have been saying that Sobeys is becoming a really lousy place to find coupons lately.

Good to know about Sobeys doing that. I'm finding it almost impossible to find coupons too. I for the first time ever found a coupon at Walmart yesterday for bear paw cracker coupons for $.50 at Walmart I only took 5 of them.

I find that if you go to Sobey's early on the first day of the flyer sale, they have fresh tearpads out. An hour later and they're gone... you have to be quick.

This is gonna sound strange (and funny) but....... one of the ladies that works at our local Safeway used to live next door to me. Both our families have gotten along great for the past 20 years. Over the last few months I have started once again using coupons. She has, over the years, graduated to now work in the office (on the floor occasionally helping cashiers/CS counter). I guess she must have to process all the coupons because it seems ever since I started bringing in my coupons she's not as nice as she once was! It really shows when she has to come to my checkout because the cashier is new and doesn't understand entering the coupons (I try to avoid those cashiers but hey, sometimes there's only one cashier available!) Anyway, she is short with the cashier and barely makes eye contact with me let alone speak to me! So funny!!! Never had a problem til I started couponing! (My thought on this? Grow up already - you get paid to process them and I'm not gonna stop using coupons!)
Edit: Oh, and there are NEVER any coupons available in that store!! I wonder if she's responsible for putting them out!

Thats too bad. i dont get what the upset over coupons is anyhow. Why eles would they make them if they didn't want us to use them right!! I hope things work out for you two Its part of her Job right. If she didn't like it she could quite or find another Job. I am sure you are not the only one using coupons anyhow!! Is she rude to everone I wonder lol.
