Hi, there, I don't understand why some stores won't accept printed coupons? Anyone know why?

Just my opinion, but I think it is a result of the past when cpns were being printed, photocopied and used. Totally not the intention of the manufacturer but at that point they didn't have a good system to stop the photocopying. It might just be now that stores are recieving what they expected to be a nice chunk of coin back from the manufacturers and it turns out not to be. Examples of these cpns: Quantum starter kit, Soft Lips, Skinny cow single serving, just to name a few.
I avoid using printed cpns at all costs ... not worth the hassle.
