I thought I saw a sign in my no frills saying that they ad match. Has anyone done this at no frills? Is this new?
I wanted to go and match the snuggles sheets with zellers because I know my no frills carries that size.

    anyone?

Yes its fairly new ..they started doing it about 2 weeks back & started putting signs for it in its stores .

Make sure you take the Zellers flyer with you when you do that .

Even some of their flyers ( depending on the area ) have started mentioning the PM

Hi everyone, they will not match store brands (eg- presidents choice pop for complements pop aka loblaws/ weston chain store brand for sobies/ price choppers store brand). When I tried to price match chicken legs, the person doing the price matching said the bags needed to be re-priced, grabbed my two bags, and my mother's two bags, and disappeared. When he came back he refused to let us have more than one bag each. Pointing out we were purchasing for two different households didn't make any difference. cheers, Pamdaa

i've done a few no frills price matchs, and each time they have to call a manager, or supervisor to ok the match. i haven't had limits on how many, but had the same 'it has to be the same as the picture' problem. i won't make a habit of it, but it is useful when zellers doesn't have the item i'm looking to PM.

i also found that loblaws and rcss have a coupon zone (haven't seen them at no frills, but maybe that's just a small no frills near me) - if you take coupons that are applicable at the 'loblaws ltd family' it include no frills, so i took my coupons there to PM fibre 1 bars that were on sale at metro (2/$5-$1 coupon is $2 each which is hard to come by for fibre one bars!)

good luck! and hopefully they get better at PM'ing as more cashiers get the hang of it!

I have PM'ed once at NF. The cashier was really nice in acknowledging that she wasn't sure how to do it as it was her first time. A quick phone call to a manager and everything went smoothly. I PM'ed and used coupons no problem.

My NF won't price match non-grocery stores. Last time I tried to PM giant tiger, they refused.

Also they are not accept Big Chinse Supermarket like Tone Tai Supermarket. Reason - too small for such a huge mashine like NF.
There are few of them in Toronto GTA, some are much bigger then NF. I get a flyer TT every week.
Feel sad. Manager NF said they have a list of the stores to PM, like LOBLAWS, Metro... etc. Feel strange - she said LOBLAWS.

I've done PM @ No Frills. They were OK, but don't do mutiple items, like 3 for $1.

yes they do, but as always be patient. you will always encounter the "new" clerk
or "call" for the manager. if you have several items to PM it is worth the wait.

I work at no frills and they are very picky. They dont want to pm at all because they do not get compensated for the difference in the price. where i live they only price match 4 stores and RCSS is not one of them. there is a limit of 4 i believe. they try to make it as difficult as possible so customers will not bother trying to PM
