Thread: Walmart Nice & Easy Hair colour
-
Wed, Aug 17th, 2011, 03:50 PM #1
I just went to purchase the double package of Nice & Easy hair colour at Walmart. They have 2 boxes together and I went to use my $3.00 off any 2 packs and was told I cannot use them as they are packaged as 1. Has anyone else had this problem? Feedback greatly appreciated

If they are bundled together and sold as a pair they are considered one item.

My local walmart manager told me when I asked the same question. if bother bar codes are covered and only verify to show one to scan then its only known as one item. But at the same local walmart I still see people using the "wub2 coupon on such items.

I was told that since they are packaged together, it is considered one item. So can't use the $3.00 off coupons.

I got that deal a couple months ago, but used a $1 off any one kit.
I can see why they would not not allow the $3wub 2, just because it is a bonus pack, and is considered free already!

when products are bundled together, or what they call bonus product, there is only one scannable upc, therefore only 1 item.

At my Walmart in Brantford I could only get the packages of 2 boxes at the sale price. They didn't have my colour I figured it was a good enough deal even paying for each box and then using my coupon. Woulda been nice if I could have gotten the deal, though. And I should have waited, if I was going that way with it, 'cause it's on sale this week, SDM I think?

I think its a chance you take trying. obviously we all know it could go either way depending on the cashier. Its not a big deal if it doesnt work just politely say you wont take it and try again next time.
