HP TouchPad - Major price drop! *super hot deal!*

Well I ordered it saturday night (as previously mentionned) but on their order status site it says Sunday... I hope that does not cause any problems...

Technically it refers to GMT, which is 7 hours ahead of Alberta, and 5 ahead of Ontario.

I can't get in touch with the Call center, the website is down. I went to a Futureshop and explained to a salesperson that i bought a 32GB for 499$ and im hoping to get a price adjsutment, he said yeah sure and then he said HP is liquidating all its stock because it's going bankrupt, what the HELL ???? did WE JUST get Ripped OFF ?

You will be able to request a refund from HP directly if you paid full price. However I wouldn't try it this week - they are swamped.

Was just on hold with HP and was informed that they completely sold out as of the BEGINNING of the weekend...they're swamped

how do i say this without gloating but i was able to pick up another this morning at futureshop yonge dundas, they had about 15, mostly 32gb got one of those.

so keep checking the stores and see if you get lucky

I have a few people on the hunt trying to find one for me, it's quite a daunting task I must say. I thought HP would ship a lot more out today to stores, putting in more stock!

I just TALKED TO SOMEBODY IN THE CALL CENTER after an hour waiting, she told me the majority of the sales made during the weekend via the website will be CANCELED due to shortage of stock !!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO why why !!!! i made my transaction at 3 AM monday ET and i guess i am one of the unlucky ones !!!!!!! the operator told there will not be more on sale, it's finished !

So what's happening is all the retailers will be shipping them back to HP - so over the next few weeks, you'll see times when they are available.

just talked with the hp cut.service and yes as anisse said above any orders that were done through hp 's website will be cancelled and wont even be charged on the credit cards its because they were sold out on friday its just website error that it was showing for purchase on the weekend.
