downtown is a no go! i was there yesterday trying to price match and coupon and the cashier (at customer service.. a cashier specialist or something was listed on her tag.. something specialist) her response was "we don't do that" you can price match or coupon not both

i've found quadra has some issues if you go first thing in the morning they don't mind i hear.. but if you try to go mid day or anytime in the afternoon they tend to get a bit annoyed with just coupon stacking (not even trying to price match) i've been hearing positive things about colwood location lately

Colwood will PM or reduce to their "stocking" price and depending if the one female ASM might get out of there a little frustrated. On lucky days I get Thea at cus tomer service and stacking is a dream if you are organized. I ring all my none stack item first and all my stack of coupon are split annd papercliped..

There really isn't a "best place" it's really a "best time" .... choose a time when the CS area isn't already overwhelmed. I haven't had any problems at any of the LDs but then I don't stack too many .... usually up to 4 items and then regulara coupons .... I think they have a hard time with people going through that are purchasing a lot of items as it really slows down the CS Line..... Early morning is good - evening is good -- weekdays are better than weekends ..... take a look around and have a backup plan. There is usually one or two cashiers at each location that are "wonderful" with couponers .... many are "good" and there are a few that really try to put us off! if you get the third category .... prepare to come back later..... They really are very terrific to couponers overall.

thanks ! I love hearing that!
I have had loads of good LD experiences (since March!) ... but a few not so good. The not so good I put down to my own lack of judgement. At the quadra location they are mostly all great with couponers --- one exception --- and I have had two poor experiences there. So now I know - if I see that person on CS I either wait = or leave. Last night I was there around 6:00pm ... I had a long term employee ... and she was absolutely fabulous... I was price matching and using coupons (not too many though) ... There was no one in line behind me (huffing and puffing that I'm taking so long --- had that before)..... so could have been a disaster but was absolutely fabulous! If I get products for "almost free" .... then they can get my other business!
The thing I try to keep in mind is that they wouldn't be doing this if it didn't make "business sense" for them to do this. So let's make it make sense for them! Be friendly - be honest - and give them some of your other business! Try not to be a PITA!

Last night THE BEST stacking experience at Colwood a small tiny girl named "Jennifer" oh my goodness she was amazing. YA SO TONIGHT just thought I might as well not let 3 really good stacks of Dove that expire today go to waste. YA WELL shoulda just stayed at home cause this other Customer Service girl said I couldn't use my DOVE coupons because it says they need to be from "2 different lines" I was buying deodorant. 3 Baby Powder and 3 Green Go Fresh. SINCE WHEN I would like to know since when does that ever happen. I've only been using my DOVE coupons since FOREVER and I just always make sure I put 2 different ones down on the counter together BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH. Seriously I think she sees me walk in and instantly she knows I'm gonna price match and I have coupons. She does this to me all the stinking time. I'm just gonna start stalking Jennifer the nice cashier. I wonder if its weird if I ask her if she could email me her working schedual each week just so I know what days/times to come do my stacking. So irritated, that cashier ruined "DOVE expirying day" for me. Oops sorry did I just say this out loud? Thought it was in my head.

Well the 2 different lines is not a novelty. Sorry you feel that way but the back of the coupons explains it all... I am so thankful LD allows us to stack lets not be abusif and try to pass quick ones. The only result will be us, couponers, losing our privileges.

I don't try to pass "quick ones" I never do that. I'm like the most honest couponer there is, usually its me pointing out to the cashier she's charging me too little. The girls at LD sometimes say "oh well its P&G and your not suppose to stack these but I'll allow it just this time" and I'm all like "NO NO oh sorry I didn't realise that coupon no I don't want to ruin it for everyone and I will take back my coupon (even if it wasn't P&G) just because I don't want them getting in trouble and me ruin it. I know some SC that used to stack TONS of P&G at SOF because they said "oh the cashier never look at the coupons at SOF" and now look at the new interesting coupon memo that came out last week. I follow the rules so stinking closely its nuts, I seriously was genuinely upset yesterday because I just thought that the 2 different deodorant were from 2 "different lines" one says its from the new Go Fresh line launched this year and the other is just the normal baby powder.
I appreciate that LD allows stacking so much that I probably will go only 2 times a month and thats with me working for days just trying to get my coupons nicely organized and making sure I have the correct wording. So that I'm not trying to abuse it or pass as you say "quick ones" that is hardly my style at all and you certainly can ask any SC members that know me.
Like I said I was just truly bummed because I thought I have "2 different lines" not that I was trying to pass a "quick one" The other week I went to the CS desk and asked for help with a ton of coffee coupons I spent weeks trading for and seriously I had a huge pile of them and I asked the girl if she could go over each one with me because I wanted to make sure I could use only the "proper right ones" as I don't want to do anything wrong. So trust me its not me trying to make all of us couponers lose our priviledges.

I had the exact same situation happen to me last week. I told the girl at the customer service desk that i had been in the day before to check with them to make sure they consider those two different types of deodorant "two different product lines" the cashier said she didn't think so but she'd check with her manager for me. He said he was okay with that as a "product line" is defined by the branding on the product and not the type of product itself. The cashier was great about it and really nice. She said she was glad she checked for me! I was glad too!
