Well for once it was nice not to be hounded about all the coupons I was using and where I had gotten them from. Had a great cashier at Zellers today. Thinking I will stick to going to the younger cashiers rather than the older ones. Even had to bring my DD's with me as DH is working OT today and they actually behaved for once

. Maybe because I threatened them that if they weren't good, they wouldn't be playiing with their friends when we got home
.
Here's what I got:
Nestle Drumsticks - pm'd to Food Basics - $2.97 x2 = $5.94 - $2.00 = $3.94 (used 2 $1.00 off coupons)
Oatmeal To Go Bars - pm'd to Food Bascis - $1.99 x3 = $5.97 - $1.99 = $3.98 (used B2 get one FREE)
Thinsations - Zellers price - $1.49 x2 = $2.98 - no coupons
4 Stouffers Dinners - pm'd to Shoppers - $1.99 x4 = $7.96 - 3.99 = $3.97 (used B3 Save $2.00 and 1 FPC)
Robin Hood Flour - pm'd to Shoppers - $3.99 x2 = $7.98 - $2.00 = $5.98 (used 2 $1.00 off coupons)
Dove Baby Bar Soap - pm'd to Shoppers - $2.50 x2 = $5.00 - $2.00 = $3.00 (used Buy 2 Dove Save $2.00)
Tide Laundry Soap - pm'd to Shoppers - $4.99 x2 = $9.98 - $2.00 = $7.98 (used 2 $1.00 off coupons)
Heberal Essence Conditioner - pm'd to RCSS - $2.50 x2 = $5.00 - $1.00 = $4.00 (used 2 $.50 off coupons)
Dove Conditioner - pm'd to RCSS - $4.00 x2 = $8.00 - 3.00 = $5.00 (used 2x $1.50 off coupons)
Cloverleaf Tuna - pm'd to Sobey's - $.99 x2 = $1.98 - $1.00 = $.98 (used B2 Save $1.00)
Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwiches - pm'd to Sobey's - $5.49 - $5.49 = FRREE (used FPC)
Dove Bar Soap - pm'd to Shoppers - $2.50 x2 = $5.00 - $2.00 = $3.00 (used Save $2.00 wub2 Dove) I'm kicking myself because I wanted to PM these to Rexall as they are only $1.49 each)
Coke 12 packs - Zellers price - $2.99 x4 = $11.96 - $4.00 = $7.96 (used B2 Coke Save $2.00)
Fanata - Zellers price - $1.99 x2 = $3.98 - $3.98 = FREE (when you buy 2 coke products (12 packs) you can get these for FREE)

I was there today with expiring coupons and my expiring VIP card, too. You are an inspiration! I didn't do the "homework" that you did! - Pays to be prepared! What a great job you did!

Awww thanks avon! I went through all my flyers and wrote down what I wanted from each store and brought it with me along with all the flyers. I feel more prepared that way. I just get a little nervous when checking out when people start to form and a line behind me and I'm going through the flyers trying to find the item to price match. Sucks that the VIP SPC card is expiring today
. Just have to wait for my new one to come in the mail.

You know? It all depends on the cashier, really (young or old) in my case anyway! I've been to young ones, who didn't question me AT ALL and other young ones who called manager everytime I had a coupon (well almost every time). On the other hand, I've dealt with older cashiers (more experienced) who think I'm out to cheat the store and older cashiers who are too tired and take your word for it and just put the coupons through. Not that I'd ever cheat anyone (I certainly wouldn't want to be barred from Walmart or Zeller's)... Anyhoo, great finds and great cashier. Lucky you! Lynn
