I used a regular moisturizer when i was pregnant with my kids! However i only got stretch marks on my stomach with the third pregnancy. But the baby is ten months old and they've faded quite a bit. Not that my stomach is going to see the light of day anytime soon!

LOL I had stretch marks way before I ever got pregnant so I wasn't really worried about it. Good luck though!

honestly this worked for me and freinds also, use vitamin E cream a few times a day and then once a day bathe in baby oil..I have no stretch marks, the only place I have them is my appendix scar stretched somewhat but back then they opened you up with a 3" incision and I went from 85 lbs to 125 lbs..I weight more now then I did at 9 months pregnant lol

Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is great for preventing stretchmarks and helping fade ones you already have.
Amazon and Starbucks GiftCards for Searching the net? Yes I did and so can you!

i definately recommend vitamin E oil or lotion. had 3 babies, got huge & not 1 strech mark. i would put lotion on every morning & the oil (very sticky) on at night.

I think if you moisturize with a cream or oil you should be fine. You have to try to use it everyday.

The experts say that if you are predisposed to marking, you will get stretch marks no matter what. A good rule of thumb is, If your mother got them, so will you.
The creams are good to alleviate the itchiness. I used Palmer's Belly Butter. It smells like coconut and I am not itchy. One tub lasts the whole 9 months.

I had used the one from Thyme maternity on the rare occasion that I actually remembered to put it on. I didn't really think it would help and I knew my mom and sister never got stretch marks. I never did get stretch marks (had two babies) but I do believe it's more hereditary than anything. The cream definitely won't hurt though, and I've seen some pretty scary stretch marks!

Yeah I read that in my "what to expect when you are expecting" book. My mothers belly was literally wrecked. I scar super easily, but I had more stretch marks on my boobs then on my belly and I gained almost 40lbs throughout my pregnancy. I had them on the side of my rib cage, 3 on one end 2 on the other.
My doctor also told me no matter how itchy I got DO NOT scratch. She said scratching damages the stretching skin which will cause way more stretchmarks than normal. So while I was at work as soon as I felt itchy I would go to the bathroom and rub lotion on my belly.. Bio oil in the morning, lotion throughout the day, bio oil after work, and before bed. I had one smooooth belly. haha.

I used Palmer's (you can get it walmart and a ton of other places) on my belly, boobs, hips, and thighs while I was pregnant and I did'nt get any stretch marks (its ok to hate me!) and I gained 40lbs with my 1st pregnancy.
