Thanks for the heads up. I did register but it said I was at the "top of the referral chain" since no one referred me. Was there something different I was supposed to do?

If anyone is interested in starting or joining an SC referral chain, please post here. Depending on how many people want to be involved, there might be a chain set up.
DO NOT register for the event yet, or you cannot join the chain.
NOTE: you should be available to shop on Dec 1st, of course.

I'm completely up for this. It would be amazing if everyone would be able to get the bonus 100,000 points, since that does equal up to over $150!
I don't have that much time since my exams are coming up, but I would like to volunteer whatever time that I do have. I was just wondering why we can't register for the event yet? Is it that we need to put down other people's names or so? Sorry but this shall be my first time participating in something like this.
You can only register once, so if you do so now you will not receive the referral from the person above you in the chain, and will therefore not be eligible to refer the next person and so fourth.

Wow, alajen - knowing how much work it was last time for the organizers of the last chain, and how inadequately they were recognized for the hard work they put in to making and maintaining the chain, I don't think I can bring myself to sign up for one again :( , although theoretically I would if there were better ways for the organizers' hard work to be recognized and compensated for by all involved. :shrug:Quote:
