Signature req'd on cpn

I found a couple of the Dole Fruit'n Crisp cpns on the floor in front of the carts yesterday. I just pulled them out of my purse to put them with the my other cpns and noticed that a signature is req'd on the back to validate them. It states "To validate this coupon, your customer must sign in the space provided". there is a box directly below.

For manufacturer tear pad cpns, I hope this isn't the direction they are going. But I think this is a great idea for printables - they should continue to have the limit on how many can be printed. It would also be great to have the person's name printed with the cpn and then include on the cpn the above validation. This would eliminate the abuse that is happening with printables.

that's really strange.
i can't begin to wonder why they would do that. what exactly are we signing for hehe.
