Alright I admit I am a Montreal Canadians follower but for the love of Jean Beliveau must the world come to a screetching halt for every flippin' game? Ladies? and maybe some gents, what's a girl to do on a Saturday night? Suggestions?
Hmmm Black Widows eh??? There's a thought.

hahaha. My dad used to watch hockey night in Canada when I was a kid. It's one of my favourite memories of childhood. My mom would head into the kitchen to bake stuff and my dad would settle in to watch the game. We'd be freshly bathed and in our pj's playing tinkertoys on the floor.
I married someone who is so far removed from sports that he's likely to ask how many innings are in a hockey game. And this suits me well too.
In answer to your question though--what's a guy or girl to do? Well, you could go bargain shopping. Or...you could invite your friends in for a round of cards while he watches the game.
Somehow though, I think DH666 will be weighing in the on this discussion, yes? lol...just...AFTER the game, right?"Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle

Ninna it used to be an event here too when I was a kid. My aunt used to work for the hockey news and I remember being excited to receive the yearly guide book in advance lol. However that was once a week now we haev 82 games and pre season and all the playoffs and about 8540 satellite channels that show 24 hour hockey. lol

my hubby is a huge hockey freak.i really thought "ok this guy loves his hockey" when we first met.little did i know how much.he writes rosters, has a fantasy hockey pool,a real hockey pool, our hallway is the hall of copper and blue,he spends every free moment he has off when i am not "nagging him" playing NHL12 on the ps3.if he isn't doing that he is watching the oilers on tv,or physically playing hockey in the yard,or buying hockey cards...lol..love him,though...
