I'm no guru, but think unless the other person has rare or high value coupons, dollar for dollar is fair.

I've had that happen too, recently was trying to trade two $5 gas coupon things from the cereal boxes. I declined the trades worth less than $10, but no one actually offered me much. Decided to cash 'em in myself.

I think most people try to keep it close to fair.
I don't trade much, so if someone trades with me first, I try to give the best of what I can, that they would want back.

It depends on what they are offering...Sometimes $ for $...if they have a coupon I really, really want, then probably more.

ok - so i tried to get something close to $ for $ - a few coupons and a $5 wm gc - the other person got really upset with me and did not like my offer - i have to ask "was i out to lunch?" - i'd like to stick with the norm as much as possible and be able to have good trades - any advice?

coupons and $5 gc? for $30? A little much IMO...$5 gc for $50 at the vary least...unless coupons were a bunch of FPC...then

if you still want the trade...ask for the coupons and maybe 3 stamps?

    just MHO
