This coming week Safeway has Sponge Towels Ultra (6) as part of a B3G60 offer. Works out to:

    7.99/5.89

If you add in tax it becomes about 9.03/6.93

Oct. 5 - 7 Rexall has the same on for $3.99 ($4.99 rest of the week)

If you add in tax it becomes about $4.38 vs. Safeway's $6.93.

    Buy at Rexall.

Not a particularly good week coming up. Source Yogurt is about the best B4G25 @ 2.50/1.84

With all the $0.50 coupons out there it becomes 2/1.34

Let's hope the Email.Direct is decent.

New York Strip Loin $5 each steak (sold in packages of two = $10) NOTE: There is nothing about weight. This is a practice Wally World has been doing for some time but is the first time I've seen it at Safeway. I thought it was the law that these items had to list price/weight but is this another of the Harper government's changes. I dunno but I do know this practice is misleading when your used to checking the price/weight. It's almost a bait and switch and until you get there you don't know that the price might be $25/lb or something. Safeway you should be ashamed.
The Wal-mart ones have the weight printed too. So you can pick the heaviest ones. Some times the heaviest ones are cheaper than the ones sold by the lb.

Thanks, what I'm referring to are Wally World's flyer and this Safeway flyer which basically says $5 each ($10 for 2) without saying how much per pound. You only learn that when you go into the store. That's the bait. They just assume you'll buy something there.

I actually got sucked into this "deal" about a month ago when they had it. When I got there I realized that the steaks were actually quite thin. There was no way to tell the weight. I bought them because I didn't have time to go somewhere else that day but never again! It all seemed pretty underhanded to me.

Not much for airmiles for me either :-(
On the coupon front --- if you have the BOGO coupon for arm & hammer laundry it would be a good time to combine it with this weeks BOGO sale.

Don't ask me how I know!

I see in the recent issue of Chatelaine Magazine there's a coupon booklet from Robin Hood with $1 Europe's Best Fruit or Veggie in it. This often comes up as an AM special.

There's also, in the mag itself, $3 Advil Night time (any) and $1.50 on Wheat Thins. Both are often AM specials and I've never seen a $1.50 on Wheat Thins before.
