I just went to a couple safeways to scope stuff out for the cereal deal.... no forms out yet... except the nimrods in one store put up signs saying buy 2 general mills get a free yogurt right beside items that were not marked.... and they did it over and over. Unless on friday they are giving away a yogurt for every 2 we buy they are just messing with customers.

I had a great conversation with a cashier... i caught her at a moment when all of the tills were dead.... airmiles will be accepted until march.... and a change to the airmiles has happened. Safeway no longer counts the refundable portion of pop towards airmiles.... so we need to watch for this in the future... our bill may read 100 plus gst but if you have purchased a bunch of soda your total will be under..... now i am kinda depressed... they will be ending the airmiles program for sure at safeway... WHAT ABOUT BOB??? sniffles sniffles... Bob I hope you will consider doing a new thread on the new safeway bonus points system... she said the name will not change but they must be putting something into play... my prescriptions will be moved to shoppers before they stop accepting airmiles... only if shoppers offers me some great stuff to switch it tho.

Hope it's not true (cashiers have often been wrong about this type of thing before) but I was hoping to be the first consumer thread at SC to get 1,000,000 hits (funny how Boo never seems to notice us). Oh well, whatever happens happens!

Apparently some of the AirMiles mailouts included coupons for a B4G50 on 2L Coke. If you got those you're laughing: Spend $4 Get $5.25 worth of Airmiles this weekend.

These coupons are targeted so not everyone will get them.

It also seems you get these bonus coupons every other mail out. I got coupons last time so not expecting anything this time if it arrives.

The Sunkist Vitamin C's are included in the living well buy 4 get 100 airmiles ending thursday july 11th. They were $5.59 each. I picked up 4 non-chewable as the chewables are bad for your teeth. If anyone is interested...fyi

I did mail 4 last year as I have 3 brothers houses I mail to plus my own for 4. Saddened that it is only a $10 card instead of $20. Will have to see if anything is on sale for me to buy. I am loaded on Kelloggs cereals so not sure I will go the cereal route.

Yup they are horrible on the teeth... so are those sour candies. I keep citric acid in my house for canning... that stuff is no joking matter!
