I have been thinking the same thing lately....that Safeway is on a roll....maybe they finally figured out they needed to be more competitive
I admit that some of their recent deals in combo with the AirMiles offers have got me into the store, normally I never shop at Safeway.

Actually I've often been called a degenerate gambler...of course my response is "I don't gamble".

This Friday, Saturday, Sunday Thrifty's has their Buy a $200 Smile Card Get 200 Airmiles offer on.

I still have over $100 left on the last one which I know I can use towards the purchase of the new one so it''l be more like a B$100G200 for me.

Safeway/sobeys were good to me this week. Getting paid 7.43 for 22 yogurts they did overage on the $3 printable coupons
Thanks for the heads up on the flyer Tommy. Purex (-1 printables) and cheese for me.
Are theses limits per day or attached to am card?

My store is pulling some kind of scam with these where their just allowing people to buy 1 per transaction with the coupon so you get no airmiles.... I was there and saw they had one of the coupons taped to the till with a bunch of writing on it so I asked the kid whats up with it.

That's not bad.. I'm on the (very) east coast this week.. Sobeys has a promo, buy $200 gift card, get 50 Air Miles. Meh.

The coupon says '1 per product per customer' (or similar).. which leaves it open to interpretation. A lot of people print multiple copies of these coupons as well (same PIN).

It is sad that a few bad Apples ruin if for everyone. I had 4 x $3, and several $1. Cashiers need to be trained that each printable has a code. Photocopies don't have the $ water mark....

Cool--my Gold price is 3825...how do the high rollers do?

BTW Can't rave enough about Bose technology--have a pair from the e-Auction a few years back--first thing I pack for my Las Vegas pilgrimage--sat on WJ 737 on the Emergency Exit row (also over the wing) and was able to listen to everything at moderate volume (as opposed to ordinary headphones/buds, where I had to crank up the volume all the way, and still couldn't hear the stuff). Don't know if it's worth $385 retail, though. Bought a backup pair of Sony phones in Vegas Target for 50$ and they work pretty good, too--only gripe is they don't cover the whole ear.

Anyhow, thanks for sharing, and pardon the mini product review!!
