What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?

They both look good until they hit the ice.

hmm...I can't say I ever had a bad drinking experience. I always stop when I feel like I'm getting drunk.
But in the spirit of sharing, I showed up to high school one morning in '83 with vodka on my breath and got properly chewed out by my new boyfriend (who's now my hubby).
Just because something isn't right for YOU doesn't mean it's wrong.

A road crew supervisor hired a nice-looking blonde woman to assist with painting the yellow line down the middle of the road. He was skeptical about hiring her, but she appeared enthusiastic and told him that she really needed the job. He explained to her that her work day would be to complete 2 miles of line on her road, and he set her up with her brushes and paint and got her started
After the first day, he was pleased to find that she did an excellent job and was able to paint 4 miles of road in her 8 hour shift. He told her that she did an excellent job and how pleased he was with her progress.
On the second day, she completed painting 2 miles of road. Her supervisor was surprised that on day one she had completed twice as much work, but did not say anything, as 2 miles of road was the amount that the job required anyway. He decided to just accept it, and to look forward to the next day when he was sure she would pick up her speed again.
On day 3 he was shocked to learn that in her 8 hour shift, she only completed painting 1 mile of road. He called her into his office and asked her what was the problem, "On your first day, you completed 4 miles of road, on your second day, 2 miles of road, and now on day 3, you were only able to complete 1 mile of road." "Can I ask you, what is the problem?"
"Well, she replied, I keep getting farther and farther from the paint can."

    Morning all,
Thanks for the ww and reps.
I think all may be clear to go on a repping spree later...hopefully outta jail!
I have no 'amusing' drinking stories that are "family" rated as when things get outta control, they get "outta control"!!!

If I kept a journal about my 'misadventures' in partying, I'm sure I'd make a mint selling the screenplay!

I'm not buying the vodka on your breathe since a lot people drink vodka because you can't smell it on your breathe.

Question o the day... what is your worst drinking experience?

Mine was in grade nine. We skipped school, stole a bottle of rum from a friend's parent's and I got so drunk and sick that they had to call my mom to come pick me up. I lay on the floor in the backseat and when she started the car I yelled "Don't drive so fast!" I've never been so sick in all my life. Didn't help that one buddy was spinning me around and flinging me into the couch over and over again and all I had in my stomach was a plate of fries & gravy.
If I ever sober up I will let you's know if it was a bad or a good one.
    Have A Nice Day...Stewy

That's a myth, you can smell it. Trust me, my roommate is an alcoholic and when he wants to 'hide' his drinking he drinks it straight. I can smell it as five paces...gross!!!!
