This might be a silly question but might not be. A few months ago while blue bin diving, I came across a Stamps of Canada collectors package. Its a envie about 5x7 size, says "Stamps of Canada" April- June 2005. Put them away and thought nothing of them.
My question is, Im getting extreamly low on stamps right now and cant afford to go get anymore till next week. Im wondering if these are legal to be used as actual stamps or just as collectables. The package consist of 16-50c and 1-85c stamp. They all say Canada on them and the amount, so i know they are Canadian stamps. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

stamps are stamps.. unless they are canceled(aka used) they are valid (from what i know) but due to the lower value you will have to go buy a suppliment stamp to add with it to make up the difference between these stamps and the current rate of stamps (sorta why they put out the P stamps)
When life hands you Edward Cullen...throw him back and demand Eric Northman....

yes you can use them
I used to have a customer that would bring me his envelopes just to show me the old stamps that he had on them...Some of them are pretty cool looking!

Have you considered putting them up for sale on kijiji? They're not that old, but a collector might give you a bit more than face value if they're in good condition.
