Have you checked this link? http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/179335-...s-read-canada/

Also there are some coupon flyers - look like ads, in the Vancouver Sun and Province I think the 23rd? Usually about once a month. I will see if I can find the link. Then a lot of us actually go through the recycle bins if you live in a complex or buy a few copies of the newspaper that day if you are sure the coupons are in that issue.

    Baby steps.

Even if you use just one 50 cent coupon on a full priced item you are still ahead with an extra 50 cents in your pocket.

The best advice for starting out slowly would be whenever you see a tearpad near a product that you buy take a couple or three or even four for the next times you buy the item. Eventually those little savings do add up and you feel more comfortable perhaps joining a train or doing some online training.

*nods* In-store promotions also help you save -- such as getting extra Air Miles points for buying certain grocery items at Metro. Also, you can sometimes save a bundle by clipping a coupon off of a cereal box, or detaching one from a yogurt product, or even sending away for a special offer through the company.

Check your flyers for special savings (ie. Fall and Back-to-School Promotions) and sometimes they add a perk, such as a scratch-and-save coupon ticket at the cash till, or additional coupons to redeem during a limited time offer.

My sister is an expert at making the most of coupon redeeming. She has won trips through her contest entries, also. But the key is to keep doing it! And as it has been suggested by momof3heathens -- baby steps! And have fun! <3

The woman just ahead of you at the supermarket checkout has all the delectable groceries you didn't even know they carried.

Don't forget to check the mark-down areas in stores. I don't know where you're located, but national grocers stores (loblaws, no frills, RCSS, etc.) have pink half-off stickers that they put on products. You can get massive savings by combining these with coupons.
I bought 8 cans of pam earlier this summer for only $1 each that way!!! Now I will be the non-stick queen for a year or more
