Kind of a two-part process ... Superstore (in Dart., NS, anyway) has $1 Vim coupons displayed in their cleanser aisle (they are real coupons - not the store ones) .... and Shopper's Drug Mart has Vim on for $0.99.... Got a free one no problem at Shopper's.

The last time I was @ shopper's I used my Purex $3.00 off coupon. (The purex was on sale for 2.99.) When I went back in to get another 'free' bottle I went to the same cashier but she was just switching with another cashier. The other cashier wouldn't accept the coupon. So I said that I'll buy two & use the coupon she said no it dosen't work that way, It's only for the purchase of one product. Does anyone know what SDM's coupon policy is?

Newfie, I'm not sure either. I was prepared for her to say "sorry" when I went in, but she took it without a problem.. (maybe because I was purchasing other things at the same time, and not only the $0.99 Vim?)

Here is the coupon policy of Shoppers Drug Mart. What u are looking for is in bold colour:

Shoppers Drug Mart is pleased to accept coupons with the following conditions:
    Physical Appearance:
    - Must have a clearly printed bar code
    - Must be legible
    - Printed black and white coupons from the internet and email are accepted.

    - Must be printed. Digital and mobile coupons are not accepted
    - Must have a Legal statement/Dealer statement which includes:
Expiry date within 12 months of issuance
Valid P.O. Box for remittance (for Manufacturer’s Coupons)
    - Must have a consistent offer for specific item(s). The same value or offer
should appear in all areas of the coupon. Accepted offers are:

Buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons
    - Must not show signs of tampering
    Guidelines and Restrictions:
    - Non-Canadian coupons are not accepted
    - Competitors’ coupons are not accepted
    - Coupons are not redeemable for cash or credit
    - Unless otherwise stated, only one coupon may be presented per item (except
when one additional coupon is for Shoppers Optimum Bonus Points)
    - There is no limit to the number of coupons that can be used in a transaction;
provided that no more than one coupon is used per item
    - The coupon presented must match the item purchased (including size, flavour,

    not be issued as change.

    - Coupons may only be accepted for products sold in store
    - Coupons may not be accepted as a form of tender (e.g. for Shoppers Optimum
Promotions where a customer would need to spend $50 to receive 20x the

would be deducted and does not count toward the promotion total.)
    - For all instances, customers should be issued a receipt for the transaction

All they have to do is take the $2.99 of your bill and write $2.99 on the coupon adjusting the price. It's that simple. That is their policy. You still have to pay the tax though.
I've rec'd over $1500 so far of Amazon.ca gift cards. All for free!

Thanks for sharing, but this should be posted in the Shopping Deals forum and not the Freebie forum.

Sending a request to mods to have it moved.
