I walked into wal-mart today with my mother, and we found that the tomatoes that were on sale for on sale for .50 cents a pound last week were now 12 dollars for the 50 pound case. My mother makes all her pasta sauces, stewed tomatoes and everything herself. As for myself, I haven't decided yet, I guess I'll have to dig out the old cook book! Can you freeze tomatoes? lol! Unusual brag but hey, I love tomatoes.

you can freeze tomatoe but they are only good for sauce after that and they have to be thawed in the sink and let all the moisture/water drain from them or else you get very watery sauce...
