Sobeys Meat Deals

I really hated the new Sobeys flyer "member's save x amount" UNTIL I realized there are some super fantastic deals to be had on yellow stickered meats (those that are close to the best before date).

Roast of Beef - Original Price $21.80 minus 50%, minus members save $5 per pound = I paid 87 cents

Eye of Round Steak - Original Price $9.01 minus 50%, minus members save $2.50 per pound = I paid $1.53

Grilling Steaks - Original Price $23.31 minus all the discounts = I paid 93 cents

Pork Shoulder Roast - Original Price $8.38 minus discounts = I paid $3.02

So if you don't mind buying meat that is close to the best before date, watch for those yellow stickers!

Sobeys members card is free. You can sign up for a card in the store. Everytime you shop the cashier swipes the card, and you receive points that can be accumulated for $$ off future purchases. Often they offer special perks for members e.g. free shopping bags etc. Also, most recently you may have noticed that the Sobeys flyer has listed members save x amount on many of their products.
