We got trains from the last (small) box left on the cashier's desk - all smudgers. Luckily, I ran into a family of two that got 2 thomas', so we traded. Both families walked away happily with 1 smudger and 1 thomas each.

My and my boyfriend and my son had coupons so we got three
We were there right at opening and there were tons of people lined up and the trains were in this tiny bin which made it funny to watch everyone panicing to get one
and i was one of them or course lol. People were getting multiples the cahsiers had coupons at the till and were ringing them in seperately so families could get all 4. I only got three (one for each of us) and they will make great stocking stuffers for my child at xmas since he is way to young to remember them from yesterday

i agree, some people are greedy. Some poor kids didn't get theres because the cashiers were letting one person get more than 1. Coupon stated 1 per guest

Ya I wasn't overly impressed how this was run at the Argentia/Winston Churchill Mississauga, ON location. My boyfriend and I were in line hoping to get ONE train (just ONE) to give to our friends son who lives in Cuba. When we arrived there were about 30 people in line ahead of us. We thought we'd stick it out. But then families with like 5 kids each would pull up in their mini van and just go to the front of the line? The employees would come outside and grab several people at a time to go into the store while the rest waited outside. You'd then see families with 3 or 4 trains in their hands coming out. I didnt end up getting one because they ran out. But I felt more badly for the actual KIDS that were waiting in line with their parents.
We ended up going into the store to look around and found a few of the trains they were giving away sitting on a table. I asked the cashier if they were the "free" ones and she said yes it was the same train as they were giving out, but these for the ones "for sale" as they were given specific ones from head office to give out for free. I went over to look at the display and it looks like they even took the demo trains off the display to give away.
Everything could have been avoided if there was better line management and also the store wasn't giving out multiples to families. Im still pretty VEX at all the families that thought they could show up last minute and go to the front of the line, but what are you going to do? - get into a big fight with these people over a free train?
