Dollar Store vs. coupons

Are there some items that you don't bother to try to get/use coupons for -- because you can get them cheaper at the dollar store?

ie. I notice they have pudding there for $1...so, to use a $0.30 off coupon when it's sometimes $2.49 doesn't make sense. (Unless you are after a specific brand.)

Which items do you generally stock up on at the dollar store?

I generally buy the Purina luvs, they are $1 at the dollar store vs $1,33 at walmart. Its cheaper and as long as I save money I don't mind where I buy my stuff!

I notice that they have the Dove visiblecare for $2 and the same Dove body wash is $4,27 at walmart!

Dollarama butter cooking spray is so good I use it all the time,

I don't think they are taking coupons at any of their stores anymore. There was a announcement on SC about it a couple of weeks ago.
