Has anyone found Coupons at Walmart Lately?

I was at our Walmart Supercenter and there was a smartsource rep there handing out Knorr samples. I asked if she had any coupons and she proceeded to tell me that Walmart has gotten rid of all instore coupons. They no longer allow them in their stores because the prices are already so cheap. She said of course if you have coupons from elsewhere you can use them but you will not find anymore coupons in Walmart. She also said this has been the case for about 5 months now.

Has anyone found any lately in Walmart?

I haven't found coupons anywhere lately! I found a photocopied coupon at Zellers, on a stack of pop (B2S$1 Dr. Peper, Crush, etc), that stated on it "a coupon for this product can be picked up at the til upon cashout" or something to that effect...

ummm they had the Dempsters booklets in my WM this week

I heard something similar about WM - that they no longer allow coupon pads, things have to be in a display or booklet but I have never found many coupons at WM

i have never found coupons in my wal mart or any wal mart i go to for that matter. i try looking for them to. I may have found one ever in sudbury which was a buy 2 kellogs save $1.

yeah...I wouldn't be surprised...there are often products that I see on displays elsewhere with coupons (some that actually have a space that say "place coupons here")...but they are not usually found on the same displays at WM...that's why we "coupon hunt" elsewhere! But most of the vendors at WM/SWM often will have coupons I find!

Same here but that's the only one I've seen ina LONG time. Heck, I haven't seen anything anywhere in a while. It's a consiracy! LOL Maybe the cashiers formed an anti-coupon coalition because they hate passing em at cash!

Found one last night... for the beauty section, tho.

But I now and then see bread ones, pop... health/beauty... WM allows coupons. Maybe rep was just trying to sell their product/where she was selling it... WM is pretty cheap, usually. ..."all the more wiser to use coupons there, my dear Knorr rep!"

It's true. Walmart does not allow money-off coupons to be placed in their store. When I was doing SmartSource coupons (2007 & 2008) we weren't allowed to put coupons in WM, only informational pamphlets and booklets. My Mom still does SmartSource coupons and WM's rules are still the same. No money-off coupons. Their excuse is that it's "too cluttery" for Walmart Standards (laughable... it's Walmart!!! ).

Some brands/companies don't care and try to put them in anyways, but if a higher-ups from WM sees them they will remove them.

eeesh! That would be horrible if things started moving to that extreme. Lol, the world of couponing is something else sometimes.

I haven't found many coupons at Walmart before either, but they definitely haven either been on a display (like the Lubriderm) or booklet (like the Neutrogena sunscreen), or sometimes just thrown on the shelf with the product. Pretty rare that I find a coupon at Walmart though!

My Walmart rarely has coupons... The best time to get them there is when there is a rep doing sampling. The odd time I will see a display with empty coupons pads on it, but the store is so busy I assume they are gone as soon as they are put out...

Most coupons I use come from other stores and are used at Walmart... been that way as long as I can remember.

i was at our zellers and almost evrywhere there were coupons
i was able to get lots of 2.00 herbashine coupons 2.00 wub2 dove products and 2 other kinds of dove coupons and axe coupons and much more
