Just a reminder that tomorrow is the day to start calling in for cash. $1000 given away each hour from 6am to 6pm. Who couldn't use a little of that?
Just because something isn't right for YOU doesn't mean it's wrong.

    Are you offering anything Tad?
I forgot that you bid on that King/Taylor prize. Didn't you have a kagillion points before that?

Hmmm, offering.... well, what have you in mind?

NEW - Different color from previous design.

ALL NEW - Parts are not interchangeable with previous design.

    EXCLUSIVE - Imported product.

UNMATCHED - Almost as good as the competition.

FOOLPROOF OPERATION - No provision for adjustments.

ADVANCED DESIGN - The advertising agency doesn't understand it.

IT'S HERE AT LAST - Rush job. Nobody knew it was coming.

FIELD TESTED - Manufacturer lacks test equipment.

HIGH ACCURACY - Unit on which all parts fit.

FUTURISTIC - No other reason why it looks the way it does.

REDESIGNED - Previous flaws fixed - we hope.

DIRECT SALES ONLY - Factory had a big argument with distributor.

YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT - We finally got one to work.

BREAKTHROUGH - We finally figured out a use for it.

MAINTENANCE FREE - Impossible to fix.

MEETS ALL STANDARDS - Ours, not yours.

    SOLID-STATE - Heavy as anything!

HIGH RELIABILITY - We made it work long enough to ship it

    Thanks for the reminder.
I just looked on the Q site and there is no mention of it yet.

Someone told me it is the 1007th caller that wins?
Wouldn't that take up pretty well the entire hour

    Does anyone know more details?

    Yes from 6 am - 6pm
I was questioning the caller, is it 1007 or 107?

What Memories I will ALWAYS have of Iqaluit! It took me 2 trips to get there!

The first time I tried I flew from T.O. to Ottawa for a connecting Flight. As I entered the terminal in Ottawa they just finished announcing a 2 Hour flight delay! Well I thought, I can catch up on some paperwork. After an hour an a half, They announced ANOTHER 2 hour flight delay!!! The plane was sitting outside the on the tarmac!!! Problem was fog in Iqaluit.

So, after about 5 hours in Ottawa we boarded the plane. It's about a 3 hour flight from Ottawa to Iqaluit. We were on our way FINALLY! Just after take off the pilot apologized and explained the reason for the delay was that the fog was sooo bad that there was zero clearance & zero visibility! Fortunately, my plans were to only arrive in the hotel that day.

After about 2 1/2 hours into the flight, the pilot comes on the PA. I was thinking it was time for the "to buckle up as we are approaching" spiel. But NOOO! The pilot came on to apologize that there was STILL ZERO CLEARANCE and ZERO VISIBILITY! So, the pilot apologized and informed us that we were going to turn SOUTH and land someplace in Northern Quebec!

We landed and got off the plane. The terminal was a little bigger than 2 classroom portables stuck together! After about an hour an a half we boarded the plane AGAIN!

As I said I didn't have any meetings that day other than to get to the hotel.

Just after take off the pilot came over the PA and announced apologies AGAIN! Iqaluit was still fogged in with ZERO Visibility & ZERO Clearance! We were turning BACK to OTTAWA!!!!

We landed in Ottawa about 9:30 P.M. where I had landed 12 hours previously from T.O.!!! I contacted Iqaluit and they informed me to come back next week!

I called my in-laws and spent the night. Flew back to T.O. in the A.M.

The following week I arrived in Iqaluit FINALLY!!

Reminds me of the time I flew to Baltimore-Washington via Pittsburgh, then Pittsburgh again, on what was supposed to be a direct flight. I left my house at 1100 and finally got to my hotel in Maryland about 0130. I could have driven and been there for a late dinner.

I'm doing the Ottawa - Iqaluit run tomorrow, back Thursday. Thanks for the warning!

    My Iqaluit trip was:
Day 1 - Travel to Iqaluit & arrive Frobisher Hotel.
Day 2 - Back to airport to travel to DEW Line Station at Cape Dyer.
Look around DEW Line Station & Fly back to Iqaluit & go back to Hotel.
Day 3 - Back to Airport & Go back HOME!
