    Just saw this article on Yahoo. I don't know if I would be willing to wait any longer for items as I have noticed my mail has already slowed down they should have done this a month ago!(my Christmas dress just took 2 weeks longer than my husbands Christmas present to get here from the same country ..my shoes have been in the mail forever should have beaten the dress in getting here dress came from England shoes from California shoes sent 1st class) Even if its courier delivery I think it could really tie up the works so close to Christmas.

    I think it's awesome! Over this past year, I have shopped online at stores I never would have before because they had free shipping.
    It only works well if there is no, or very low, minimum purchase required.

    I found last year when I ordered things online in December, they came very quickly, considering how busy things are. It helps that delivery is done on weekends, as well.

    Yes, it's disappointing that some stores are the same old ones that have minimum purchase for shipping - BUT I did go see some store sites that I bookmarked for later purchase - and it's cool to see a lot of Etsy shops on there.
