Hi Everyone!

Couldn't sleep in down here near Queen Street if you tried. Born to Run has been blasting over and over from Kew Gardens for the marathoners!!! People cheering etc.
Took that drive around St Jacobs yesterday. Got lotsa stuff from the big Farmer's Market and walked around King Street etc. brought some stuff for a picnic but boy it was chilly in my sandals! plus it was rainy and windy earlier. The weather definitely put a damper on the day but at least we got there! Geez, what happened to the nice weather!
Tad - my daughter was wondering if you went on the Bohemoth or Top Gun?

My kids wouldn't go on the Behemoth and i didn't want to leave them on their own that long (line-ups were huge for it). I didn't even see Top Gun (unless that is the ride now called Flight Deck).
I went on the Flight Deck ride (loved it!). I was able to talk my son into going on the Mine Buster (which was a real scary proposition for him since he is afraid of heights). He loved it and went on several times after (no line for that ride at all).
Ainsley was terrified of Sky Rider (since it is the stand-up roller coaster and it does the loop the loop and corkscrew move). I talked her into it and she was buckled in and saying she was really scared. I bet her a dollar that she would want to go on it again. After the ride was over, she hung her head down and said it was scary. I thought that I pushed her too far. Then she mumbled, 'ok...I'll give you a dollar and I want to go again'.
I really, really wanted to go on the Behemoth. Maybe next year I'll make sure I have another adult to take them on rides while I try it out. I love the bigger rides!Last edited by tad01; Sun, Sep 26th, 2010 at 12:41 PM.

Rockie - you still around?
Just watching Eskies and Boatmen on TSN and they did a little clip about the team enjoying some fresh Atlantic Lobster. Haven't seen you here in a bit .... Coincidence? I hope so!!

I thank-you for the opportunity to proclaim my innocence.

No, seriously, it really wasn't me this time.

"Meanwhile out from the ocean
Living in the internet
Is the cause of an explosion
No one has heard yet
"But there's no need to worry
There's no reason to fuss
Just go on about your work now
And leave the drivin' to us
"And we'll be watching you
No matter what you do
And you can do your part
By watchin' others too"

I’ve been reppin’ up & reppin’ down,
Doing the rep all around the town,
I’ve repped so much, you think I’d be tired,
But the more reppin’ I do, the more I’m inspired,
Reppin is good, so I’ve invented a dance,
You wiggle your bum, shake your chest & off you prance,
Do the rep dance to the left, to the right & in the middle,
Everyone can rep dance & there is no second fiddle,
Do some reppin’ with a partner & do it all in stride,
Cause reppin’ might-as-well be fever, & you cannot hide,
So…bingo, bingo, bango,
Let’s do the reppin’ tango,
& as long as you rep without any ill will,
Keep it up kids, as it’s hard to keep still.
