Has anyone seen any good paper towel deals lately?

I have Scott $1 coupons expiring in October - have had them a while, but no sales?!?

I have $0.70 Royale coupons, but no sales either.

Unlike TP and a number of other items where I have a stash , I actually don't have ANY paper towel left. So, just wondering if others could share their perspective on what a good paper towel deal is.

A friend once told me that her dh wouldn't let her buy cereal unless it was $0.50 / 100g. I thought it was funny at the time, then I went to the store and realized it was true! It is easy to remember and now I use that rule for myself

How about the sponge towels walmart has on sale? I think there may be coupons for them too.

i usually stock up on SDM brand - they usually have the 8 pks for $1.99. I'd like to know how much others pay for their paper towels.

I find the sdm paper towels leave lint and that I have to use twice as much as opposed to when I use bounty or something. Maybe its my technique lol. Even so, I guess at $1.99 you could buy like 5x as much pt for the same price eh.

$3.88 at Walmart for 6 Rolls of Sponge Towels is a pretty good price. Way better quality than SDM brand (in my opinion) and they're choose-a-size so you don't waste as much

I like the SDM Life brand paper towels too. I only ever buy those when they are on for $1.99 for 8 rolls. I find they are the cheapest and work just fine for my needs. Whether they will work for you depends on what you use them for. I mostly use them to cover a plate in the microwave, instead of a plate if I'm having something small and crumbly like cookies or toast, or to clean up a hairball - I don't do much scrubbing with them or mopping up huge spills like in the commercials, so I don't need anything heavy duty. I use them to clean mirrors too and I don't find they leave lint. If I only need half a sheet, then I carefully rip a sheet in half. They're a lot thinner than say Bounty, but personally I don't need a thick and strong paper towel, so Life brand works for me. But if you're going to wipe up a gallon of juice like in the commercials, you'd need a whole roll of Life brand paper towels, but only like one Bounty so that might be better for you.
